Bar room liquor license granted to Paul Savage, at his house in Onancock; and to Alfred S. Kellam, at his house in Powellton.

Orders on County Treasurer entered in favor of Geo. W. James, for $5; Harry T. White, for $7; Thos. E. Fletcher, for $2; and Elias H. Jester, for $3 -- (public services to roads.)

The Commonwealth vs. Wm. Gardiner -- (indictment for felony.) Defendant recognized, and cause continued until next term.

The Commonwealth vs. James E. Johnson -- (information for selling ardent spirits unlawfully.) Verdict of not guilty, and judgment of acquittal.

The Commonwealth vs. Samuel Dix -- (information for assault and battery on Wm. Rayfield, colored). Verdict of guilty, and defendant sentenced to ten days' imprisonment in county jail, and to pay a fine of ten dollars and costs of prosecution.

Order entered substituting Upshur B. Quinby a trustee in place of John R. Parker, deceased, in deed bearing date Sept. 17th, 1859, from John P. Walker to the said John R. Parker, trustee for the sole and separate use of Lucinda Walker, wife of said John P.

Upon petition of John T. Hill and others for a public road on Chincoteague Island, petition filed, and appointing viewers.

Joseph H. Mears vs. John S. Bell -- (in debt -- removed by J. P.) Continued until next term.

In the matter of the executorial account of Samuel T. Taylor, deceased, order entered directing John C. Taylor and Geo. T. Tyler, executors, to deposit $959.95 of the assets of their said testator, in the Marine Bank of Norfolk, Va., on interest, and to make report at the next term of the Court.
