ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings

At this term of the county court now in session, the following cases were heard with result stated below:

Commonwealth vs. Duffield Savage, charged with selling intoxicating liquor unlawfully. Jury failed to agree.

Commonwealth vs. Jas H. Evans, charged with attempt to commit rape. Jury failed to agree.

Commonwealth vs Jesse Henderson, colored, charged with housebreaking. Verdict -- two years in penitentiary.

Caleb Watson vs. Jesse Bowden, (on writ of unlawful detainer). Plaintiff non suited.

Tracey, Powers and Peterson vs. Luke C. Lewis -- trespass (on appeal) -- to try right to oyster planting grounds. Decision not rendered yet by Judge.
