Ex parte: Petition of Walter D. Lewis, late guardian of Wm. James Mapp. Report of Stewart K. Powell, attorney, filed and cause removed from docket.

Petition of Jno. T. B. Hyslup and others for public road and bridge. Order on county treasurer for payment to viewers.

George Hayward, colored, confined to jail for disturbing peace, entered into recognizance to keep the peace and was discharged from jail.

A regular grand jury was empanelled but failed to find any indictments.

Charlotte C. Taylor qualified as administratrix of Orin F. Taylor, deceased.

James W. Broughton qualified as Notary Public for county of Accomac.

William W. Sharp, of M. E. Church, was authorized to celebrate the rites of matrimony.

The following fiduciary accounts were confirmed and ordered to be recorded: Audits of estates of Charles P. Finney, and George Godwin, colored; Orphan accounts of Harold E., Annie S. and Evelyn M. Crockett; Wilfred, Robert and Lena Hall; Emma May, Willie C., Charles E., Harvey L. and Lloyd M. Gilden, and Clarence E. Burch.

J. W. Colona, agent N.Y.P. & N.R.R. Co., appellant, vs. Robert L. Parks, appellee. Dismissed on motion of appellant.

Ex parte: Petition of L. Floyd Nock, agent for Annie Collins Bayly, an infant. Report of L. Floyd Nock, agent, filed and confirmed.

Wm. C. Parks vs. N.Y.P. & N.R.Co. Dismissed on motion of defendants.

N.Y.P. & N.R.R. Co., appellant vs. Wm. L. Bloxom, appellee. Dismissed on motion of appellant.

Elie C. Coryell vs. Ralph Burroughs (on petition for a writ of habeas corpens, to obtain the custody of an infant child, Minnie C. Coryell). Petition dismissed and said Minnie C. Coryell allowed of own choice to remain custody of said Burroughs.

James K. Harmon qualified as oyster inspector for 3d district, S. A. Taylor as oyster inspector for 1st district, and Robt. L. Parks as oyster inspector in 2d district. Joseph R. Riggs, Staton F. Byrd and W. D. Dize, in vacation, had qualified respectively as oyster inspectors of 6th, 5th, and 4th districts.
