1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the council of the town of Onancock, in the county of Accomac, be, and is, hereby authorized and empowered to levy, in addition to the taxes which the said council is now, by law, authorized and empowered to levy, a tax of ten cents on the one hundred dollars assessed value of all the property, real and personal, in the corporate limits of said town for such town purposes as the council of said town may determine.

2. All acts or parts of acts in conflict with this act, are hereby repealed.
