CHAP. 85.--An ACT to authogize Christian Hanson to erect a wharf in front of his shore for shipping oysters.

Approved February 3, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Christian Hanson, of the county of Accomac, be and he is hereby authorized to erect a wharf in front of his shore in said county, on Swan-Gut creek, for shipping oysters, and so forth, extending thirty foot from lower water-mark into said Swan-Gut creek, and two hundred foot in width. Said Christian Hanson, his heirs and assigns, shall have the right to charge such compensation for the use of said wharf as may be agreed upon or as is usual: provided, that the said wharf shall not interfere with navigation: and provided also, that this act shall at all times be under the control of the general assembly.
