CHAP. 362.--An ACT to prevent the use of sink boxes or batteries in the waters of Accomac and Northampton counties.

Approved March 24, 1926.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be unlawful for any person to install sink boxes or batteries in the waters of Accomac and Northampton counties for the purpose of shooting wild waterfowl or to hunt or shoot such wild waterfowl from sink boxes or batteries within the waters of Accomac and Northampton counties.

2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be deemed to have committed a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, or be confined in jail for not less than thirty nor more than sixty days. Any officer discovering such sink box or battery within said waters shall destroy the same.
