CHAP. 750.--An ACT to prohibit hogs from running at large upon the streets or roads on Chincoteague island, in Accomac county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shalll be unlawful for any hog or hogs or swine to run at large upon the streets or roads on Chincoteague Island, in the county of Accomac, and the owner or owners of such animals who shall intentionally permit such animals to run at large, as above mentioned, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before any justice of the peace shall be fined not less than one nor more than five dollars for each offence.

2. This act shall take effect from and after the first day of June, eighteen hundred and ninety-six.
