CHAP. 621.--An ACT to authorize a bridge across Swan's gut, in the county of Northampton.

Approved March 5, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Mary C. Stockton, and such other persons as may be associated with her, be, and hereby are, authorized to construct a bridge across Swan's gut, in Franktown magisterial district, in Northampton county, at a point in a straight line running from the hotel of Mary C. Stockton to a point on the old government road on Hog island, near George W. Doughty's store-house, and to connect with the public road or way on Hog island, recently condemned by the county court of said county, upon such terms and conditions as may be approved of by the board of supervisors of Northampton county: and provided, such bridge shall have a suitable draw, not less than twelve feet long.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
